After trials, she finished at 10 in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. This result didn’t satisfy her, and Jenner started her training more diligently. Her hard work paid off, and she became the American champion in the men’s decathlon event in 1974. Later she continued her winning streak and won the French National Championship in 1975 and the 1975 Pan American Games. Later she excelled in performance and won a Gold Medal at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
